With the AWS service account integration, you can update existing Permission and Region Stacks to ensure your Plerion CWPP appliances continue to operate securely and efficiently across regions. A service account stack may require updates over time due to changes in permissions, AWS regional support, or infrastructure improvements.
There are two types of stacks that may need updates:
  • Permission Stack: Grants Plerion access to the service account through IAM roles and policies.
  • Region Stacks: Provisions the infrastructure required to run Plerion Service Account Appliances, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and auto-scaling resources.
